A project for female empowerment based on European cultural heritage
DESCRIPTION /
FEMPOWER is a European Erasmus+ project that empowers women through cultural heritage, artistic methods, and body-oriented approaches. At its core, the project connects historical female role models with modern empowerment techniques to support women in their personal and professional development. In collaboration with partners from Germany, Spain, Lithuania, and Greece, a practical curriculum for female empowerment is being developed and disseminated across Europe.
RESULTS /
The project will achieve the following results:
- Development of an innovative curriculum with 8 modules, integrating historical insights with empowerment methods.
- Pilot phases involving women from diverse social backgrounds to optimize the content.
- Publication of a handbook in 5 languages, available to educational institutions and multipliers.
- International dissemination through a social media campaign and public events.
- 600 printed copies of the curriculum with digital access via QR codes.
AMBITIONS /
- Enhancing self-confidence and agency among women through historical role models and artistic methods.
- Developing a practical curriculum that can be used by educational institutions and counselors.
- Combining knowledge transfer, creative methods, and bodywork to transform theoretical learning into lived experience.
- Creating a European network for female empowerment, connecting education, art, and coaching.
ROLE OF FEMEDUBEART /
FEMEDUBEART is responsible for the development of the modules on Gender Equality & Diversity and Embodied Empowerment and the artistic finalization of the project. FEMEDUBEART is also responsible for the visual design of the curriculum and supporting the social media campaign to publicize the project.
